Oğuz Çetin admitted to intensive care

Oğuz Çetin, a former player for Fenerbahçe and the Turkish National Football Team, has been admitted to intensive care due to a vascular occlusion in his brain.

The 61-year-old football figure was taken to the intensive care unit at Ümraniye Training and Research Hospital following his health issue.

It has been learned that Çetin is conscious.

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) also shared a 'get well soon' message regarding Oğuz Çetin.

The statement read, "We have learned with great sadness that Oğuz Çetin, a former player and manager of our National Team who served as the TFF Football Development Director for many years, has been admitted to intensive care due to a health issue.

We convey our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Oğuz Çetin and hope he regains his health as soon as possible."
