Oğuz Murat Aci's parents maintain their complaint
The wife of Oğuz Murat Aci, who was struck and killed by 17-year-old Timur Cihantimur in Eyüpsultan, has withdrawn her complaint. However, the lawyer for the plaintiffs stated that Aci's parents have not withdrawn their complaint.
The investigation into the incident in Eyüpsultan on March 1, 2024, where Timur Cihantimur struck and caused the death of Oğuz Murat Aci, is ongoing.
In the investigation, Aci's wife, Şükriye Aci, who was listed as a plaintiff in the file, and 4 other plaintiffs injured in the accident, submitted petitions stating that they were withdrawing their complaints on the grounds that their material and moral damages had been compensated.
The parents of Aci, who lost his life in the accident, reported that they have not withdrawn their complaint.
Family lawyer Hacı Orhan stated the following in a post on his social media account:
"News reports on television claim that the Aci family has withdrawn their complaint.
The deceased's wife, Şükriye Aci, has withdrawn her complaint, stating that her material and moral damages have been met.
The complaints of the other plaintiffs continue," he said.
