Öktem and Aydın's social media feud! 'There is a limit to the monkey business'

Yemeksepeti founder and former CEO Nevzat Aydın and Martı CEO Oğuz Alper Öktem clashed on social media. Tensions rose between the two after Aydın responded to a post Öktem made about him. After Öktem blocked Aydın, Aydın said, "The venerable defender of the working class has chosen to block me and run away. Even though we had just started, Alper. My sincere advice to you is to either become a politician - which would suit you very well - or an actor - you are quite a disaster at that."

The argument began when Aydın commented on a video posted by Öktem. Initially, Öktem shared a video consisting of footage from rallies he held with Martı Tag users with the note, "If you are going through hell, keep walking."

Aydın quoted this post and commented, "Friends, if there is anyone among you who is a close friend or family acquaintance of Alper, could you please tell him 'brother, what are you doing, pull yourself together.' I would say it, but he wouldn't listen, it seems."

OĞUZ ALPER ÖKTEM SHARED A PHOTO OF AYDIN HOLDING A RAKI BOTTLE

The Martı CEO responded to this comment by saying, "Let me tell you right away what I am doing. I am fighting tooth and nail for the future of my 220 thousand working-class brothers and sisters. I am not getting rich and retiring to spend money thanks to couriers who carry packages for pennies while risking their lives. Don't you worry about these things. Tell the worker waiting at the head of the table to pour you another glass," and shared a photo of Aydın holding a bottle of rakı.

"THERE IS A LIMIT TO THE MONKEY BUSINESS AND ACTING"

Nevzat Aydın replied to this post, "You've really lost it, Alper. If only you cared even a little bit about your 'working-class' brothers and sisters. There is a limit to the monkey business and the acting. My photo with the bottle came out very well; I had kept it for a long time, where did you find it? I wouldn't say I've retired to a corner; I am helping young entrepreneurs, just as I helped you back in the day."
