The document confirming that Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk received his Medal of Independence has been put on display for the first time.
Events marking the August 30 Victory Day continue in Ankara.
In this context, the document confirming that Mustafa Kemal Pasha received his Green-Red Ribbon Medal of Independence has been opened to public viewing for the first time at the War of Independence Museum in the 1st Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) building.
The document, which has drawn significant interest from the people of Ankara, features the inscription by Atatürk: "I have received document number 1578 pertaining to the Green and Red Ribbon Medal of Independence."
The document, which is being exhibited in the museum's Communication and Weaponry Room, will be available for viewing for 4 months.
