On Interpol-Europol's 'most wanted' list, captured in Alanya
In a joint operation conducted by the Istanbul Police Department's Narcotics Crimes Division, the Antalya Police Department, and the MIT, a suspect on the Interpol-Europol most wanted list for 'murder via diffusion message' was captured in the Alanya district of Antalya.
Under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the National Intelligence Organization (MIT), the Istanbul Police Department, and the Antalya Police Department launched an operation to capture an individual named Tunahan Çetkin (29), who was on the 'most wanted' list by Interpol-Europol.
During the investigation, the address of Çetkin, who had an active search record issued by Europol for "murder via diffusion message," was identified.
An operation was carried out at the suspect's address in the Alanya district of Antalya. During the operation, the suspect Tunahan Çetkin was captured and taken into custody.
During the interrogation of the suspect, it was determined that he had records for "membership in an organization established for the purpose of committing crimes" and "drug trafficking or supply." Furthermore, investigations into the individual revealed that he was preparing for actions via a messaging application.
It was determined that the suspect was at the top of the most wanted list published by Interpol-Europol.
