One crew member missing from ship with 23 crew in Bartın
A search operation has been launched to find a crew member who went missing from a dry cargo ship sailing off the coast of Bartın. It was discovered that one of the 23 crew members on board was missing.
It was discovered that one of the 23 Turkish crew members of the Malta-flagged dry cargo ship named "PS VALLETTA," which set sail from Novorossiysk Port in Russia to İskenderun Port, was missing.
The Coast Guard Command was notified to locate M.Ş., who was realized to be missing while the ship was sailing 18 miles off the coast of the Kurucaşile district.
A search and rescue operation for the missing personnel has been initiated with boats from Zonguldak, Amasra, and İnebolu affiliated with the Coast Guard Western Black Sea Group Command, as well as a helicopter from the Coast Guard Command.
