The owners of 'LG Güleç Izgara' in the Aybastı district of Ordu had claimed that Prosecutor Mücahit Şamil Koca had them detained because they could not serve him a meal at the establishment.

However, footage has emerged showing the moments when Prosecutor Mücahit Şamil Koca was attacked outside the restaurant.

Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç condemned the attack on the Public Prosecutor in a post on his social media account.

Tunç's statement is as follows:

“I convey my best wishes to Ünye Public Prosecutor Mücahit Şamil Koca and his family, who were subjected to a physical attack at a restaurant in the Aybastı district of Ordu. Violence, regardless of who it is directed at or its scale, is never acceptable. I condemn the attack on our Public Prosecutor and hope that such distressing incidents do not happen again.”

It was also observed that Prosecutor Koca attended the Friday prayer at Hagia Sophia, which was opened for worship by President Erdoğan on July 24, 2020.

Erdoğan also appeared on the social media of 'LG Güleç Izgara'.

Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş held a meeting at the 'LG Güleç Izgara' restaurant in 2017 while he was serving as the Deputy Chairman of the AKP.
