One soldier martyred in Operation Claw-Lock
The Ministry of National Defense announced that Infantry Contracted Private Vedat Zorba, who was severely wounded as a result of an IED explosion planted by members of the terrorist organization in the Operation Claw-Lock region, has been martyred despite all interventions.
The statement made by the Ministry of National Defense is as follows:
In the Operation Claw-Lock region, on May 22, 2024, our heroic comrade-in-arms, Infantry Contracted Private Vedat ZORBA, was severely wounded as a result of the explosion of a hand-made explosive (IED) previously planted by members of the separatist terrorist organization, was immediately transferred to the hospital, and despite all interventions, could not be saved and was martyred.
We wish God's mercy upon our dear martyr who lost his life in this incident that has plunged us into deep pain and sorrow, and we extend our condolences and patience to his grieving family, the Turkish Armed Forces, and our noble nation.
