Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya announced in a statement on social media that, as a result of intelligence work carried out by the Van Provincial Gendarmerie Command, a terrorist was identified using armored vehicles and J-UCAVs (Armed Unmanned Aerial Vehicles). Emphasizing that the operation was conducted to reduce the terror threat in the region and ensure security, Yerlikaya stated, "Our state will continue its fight against terrorism with determination."
Yerlikaya also thanked the citizens who supported the security forces.
