In the Mercek-14 operations, which have been ongoing for 4 days in 63 provinces against those carrying unlicensed weapons and arms smugglers, 966 suspects have been processed.

Minister of Interior Ali Yerlikaya reported that a total of 852 weapons were seized within the scope of the operation, including 644 unlicensed pistols, 56 pistols converted from blank-firing guns, 12 long-barreled rifles, and 140 unlicensed hunting rifles.
