Operation against chicken companies stirs up AKP corridors: 'The scandal would have grown'

Babacan stated that some party members argue that disproportionate force was used in the operations, and that tradespeople and business owners are conveying their reactions to politicians due to rising costs and the tax burden. The article noted that the dissatisfaction felt by various segments, from producers to farmers, regarding economic conditions is being reflected in the corridors.

The atmosphere in the AKP corridors is unpleasant. From those criticizing the use of disproportionate force in the operation against chicken producers to those saying, 'If our friends hadn't intervened, the scandal would have grown,' there is everything.

Impressions regarding the increasing complaints, not just from food producers but from tradespeople to restaurant owners, are being shared.

'The owner of a restaurant chain known for its closeness to the AKP said, "No more votes for you from me." His problem is taxes. He has three restaurants and employs 235 people. He explained that he goes home at three in the morning and gets up at the crack of dawn, that his earnings have halved due to high costs, and that the state takes half of that as taxes. It was the first time I saw him this angry...' these words belong to another AKP politician.

Tradespeople are complaining about the taxes they pay to the state, producers who follow the rules are complaining about those chasing easy money, and farmers are complaining about loan sharks who pay pennies for their products and make ten times that amount.

And then we expect foreign capital to invest in this lawless, ruleless jungle by passing a guarantee law!"
