Operation against prostitution ring in Konya
In an operation carried out by police teams against a prostitution ring in Konya, 3 suspects were arrested and sent to prison.
According to the information obtained, simultaneous operations were conducted at 8 addresses identified within the framework of efforts by the Konya Police Department's Public Security Branch, Morality Bureau to detect and prevent prostitution incidents.
During the operation, 4 suspects from the prostitution ring were apprehended and taken into custody, while statements were taken from a total of 5 victimized women, 2 of whom were foreign nationals, and 43 individuals with information.
The suspects identified as H.İ., B.G., B.G., and D.D. were referred to the courthouse following their procedures at the police station. Of the 4 suspects who appeared before the judge, D.D. was released under judicial control, while H.İ., B.G., and B.G. were arrested for the crimes of 'encouraging, mediating, providing a venue for, or forcing prostitution' and sent to prison.
