Operation against the Tevhid ve Sünnet community: Haris Karadağ and Halis Bayancuk in custody
Halis Bayancuk, known by the codename "Ebu Hanzala," and Haris Karadağ, known by the codename "Ebu Haris," one of the prominent figures of the community, have been taken into custody in an İzmir-based operation targeting the Tevhid ve Sünnet community.
Under the coordination of the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a comprehensive operation was carried out against the Islamist Tevhid ve Sünnet community.
According to information provided by the "Tevhid Gündemi" channel, where announcements related to the community are made, teams went to the home of Halis Bayancuk, known by the codename "Ebu Hanzala," in the morning hours to conduct a search. Following the procedures, Bayancuk was taken into custody and transported to İzmir.
Within the scope of the same operation, Haris Karadağ, known by the codename "Ebu Haris," who is considered an influential figure within the community, was also apprehended and handed over to the İzmir Police Department.
It was noted that the investigation is being conducted within the framework of the file regarding the armed attack on the Salih İşgören Police Station in Balçova, in which three police officers lost their lives.
