According to the statement by the Mersin Provincial Police Department, teams from the Cyber Crimes Branch launched an investigation into those spreading 'obscene' content on the internet and engaging in 'child abuse' within these images.
LARGE QUANTITY OF DIGITAL MATERIAL SEIZED
10 suspects were detained in an operation conducted at 10 identified addresses.
A large quantity of digital material deemed to be related to the crime was seized at the addresses in question.
One suspect was released following their statement at the police station.
The 9 suspects referred to the courthouse were arrested by the duty magistrate.
