Operation by MIT: PKK's Austria representative arrested
Hıdır Korkut, who played a significant role within the PKK/KCK's Austria structure, was captured and arrested upon entering Turkey in a joint operation by the MIT and the İzmir Provincial Security Directorate.
The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) and the İzmir Provincial Security Directorate conducted a joint operation that resulted in the capture and arrest of Hıdır Korkut, a member of the PKK/KCK's Austria structure. Hıdır Korkut was taken into custody during an operation organized by the MIT and İzmir Police as he entered Turkey on July 22.
Korkut was active at a leadership level in PKK/KCK-linked associations in Austria and was among the individuals who organized the terrorist organization's actions and events.

Korkut, who was captured as a result of an operation conducted the moment he entered Turkey, was brought before a court following the detention process and was arrested. Korkut has been sent to prison.
