According to a report by T24, following complaints received by the Ankara Police Department, police began taking action against valets operating illegally, particularly within the borders of the Çankaya district.
Within the scope of the efforts initiated by the Organized Crime Bureau, administrative action was taken against 196 people within two weeks for operating as unauthorized valets. Valets who were generating illicit income from vehicle owners parking in public areas in front of businesses in the Gaziosmanpaşa, Kavaklıdere, and Oran neighborhoods of Çankaya were apprehended and brought to the Ankara Police Department.
The suspects were referred to the courthouse after their statements were taken. Administrative fines were imposed on those who generated illicit income.
