Organized crime group dismantled in Bursa: Mansion draws attention
Seven out of 14 individuals detained during the 'Kuyu-18' operation, led by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya against an organized crime group headed by Saadettin Pasha, have been arrested.
Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced four days ago that an organized crime group led by Sadettin Pasha was dismantled during the 'Kuyu-18' operation, which was carried out across two provinces.
In the operation conducted by the Bursa Police Department's Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Branch, targeting the crime of establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes, 7 out of 14 individuals detained were sent to prison.

As a result of six months of physical and technical surveillance, a dawn operation was launched against suspects belonging to a criminal organization that committed crimes including establishing an organization for the purpose of committing crimes in the city center, extorting business people, shooting at workplaces, setting up mock courts to intervene in debt disputes between individuals to obtain unfair gain, and seizing people's real estate through extortion.

SPECIAL OPERATIONS POLICE ALSO PARTICIPATED IN THE OPERATION
The operation, supported by special operations police, involved simultaneous raids on 20 addresses belonging to 15 suspects in Bursa and Istanbul. During the searches, 12 unlicensed pistols, 7 shotguns, 275 pistol cartridges, and 25 shotgun shells were seized. Of the 14 suspects who were referred to the courthouse after their procedures at the police station were completed, 7 were arrested, while the other 7 were released under judicial control conditions.
