Our young national weightlifter Kerem Kurnaz wins 2 gold medals at the European Championships
At the Junior and U23 European Weightlifting Championships currently being held in Poland, Kerem Kurnaz became the European champion in the junior men's 89kg category, winning 2 gold medals with a lift of 190kg in the clean and jerk and a total of 342kg.
Competing in the junior men's 89kg category at the championships held at the Raszyn Centrum Sports Hall in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, Kerem Kurnaz took to the podium.
The national athlete managed to reach the top step of the podium with a lift of 190kg in the clean and jerk and a total of 342kg.
Kerem Kurnaz placed fourth in the snatch with a lift of 152kg.

Weightlifting Federation President Talat Ünlü congratulated the national weightlifter, his coaches, and the athlete's club for their success.
Turkey's medal count at the championships has risen to 34, consisting of 15 gold, 11 silver, and 8 bronze medals.
