Özel's harsh reaction to Osman Gökçek's baklava bribery taunt: 'Rotten seed'

Osman Gökçek, who recently arrived at the Grand National Assembly of Turkey with a tray of baklava on which he had written "CHP for bribery" in reference to the 110 thousand Euros found in a baklava box during the operation conducted on the CHP's Manavgat Municipality, had drawn the reaction of CHP members with this video.

AKP Ankara MP Gökçek arrived at the TBMM with a tray of baklava labeled 'CHP for bribery'.

Gökçek also included the following statements under the video he shared on his social media account: "CHP officials, excuse me, there are no Euros in this baklava. But you can still eat it with pleasure."

CHP CHAIRMAN ÖZEL REACTED FROM ADANA

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel responded to this baklava taunt by AKP's Osman Gökçek at a rally they held in Adana. Speaking at the rally organized in reaction to the arrest of Zeydan Karalar, Özel reacted very harshly to this post by AKP's Osman Gökçek.

Özel used the following expressions:

"Melih Gökçek is there. Do you know his son? A rotten seed. He went and made a baklava box and is preaching morality. The Deputy Prime Minister of your own party told your father that you sold Ankara off parcel by parcel. There is illicit gain in every bite that goes down your throat. A rotten seed. Look at these children; one is a doctor, in mandatory service. The other is doing his own business. There is no one being stacked into the municipality. Your son is going to have a 600 million villa built. And you are going to tell a civil servant's spouse that they are taking bribes."
