Çelik, who began his remarks by saying, "Istanbul's strength comes from its unity," continued with the following lines:

"In the signature process we initiated for an extraordinary congress, 506 of our 632 delegates who have the right to vote, including our natural delegates, have delivered their notarized signatures to our provincial headquarters within 48 hours to be submitted to our headquarters. As the Istanbul Provincial organization, we are continuing our signature collection process.

I wholeheartedly thank all our delegates who defend their will against trustees for their support and solidarity."
