Özgür Demirtaş reacts to RTÜK's ban on 'Kızıl Goncalar'

Producer Faruk Turgut announced on his social media account that a broadcast ban has been imposed on the series 'Kızıl Goncalar', which deals with sects and religious communities.

The broadcast suspension decision issued by RTÜK, following the series being targeted by religious communities, has been upheld by the court.

Economist Özgür Demirtaş, who viewed this development as censorship, criticized the broadcast ban imposed on 'Kızıl Goncalar' on his social media account with the following words:

"This is unbelievable. I am an adult individual. Not even my mother who gave birth to me or my father have any authority over what I do or what I watch.

How can RTÜK interfere with what I watch?
