Özgür Özel addresses the AKP government from Taşova: The dark order is ending, the people's order is coming

Stating that the intense interest he encountered, while expecting a group of 50-100 people consisting of provincial and district administrators, is an indicator of political change, Özel said, "My brother, such a welcome with a crowd like this in Taşova means something is happening."

Expressing that the government is making calculations to stop the rise of the CHP, Özel reminded that his party reached 65 percent of Turkey's population in the local elections, becoming the leading party for the first time in 47 years and defeating the AKP for the first time in 24 years. Arguing that the government is setting traps for his party, Özel used the following expressions:

"The Palace has a calculation like this: 'I should not give them any breathing room. How should I do it? Let me make them candidate-less, irresponsible, leaderless.' They have thrown the presidential candidate into prison. They have prepared all sorts of traps for the Chairman. 'Let me remove the Chairman and his team, who received all the valid votes in the party's last three conventions, and let me have this party managed with the result of the convention held in 2020 during the pandemic, without spectators and with masks, going back 6 years. Eventually, I will defeat them once again.' Only the plan of Taşova can defeat such a plan."

"The era of ministers' children is ending"

Drawing attention to the public's intense interest along the road, Özel described what is happening as the nation shaking itself off once again after 100 years. Giving a message of government change, Özel continued his words as follows:

"Something is leaving, and something new is coming in its place. The AKP's dark order is leaving. In its place, the nation's, the people's order is coming. The era of ministers' children is ending, the era of the patriotic children of Taşova is beginning."

"A march to power that cannot be contained in squares"

Stating that the images and rallies formed at the gas station will give hope and strength to other corners of Turkey, the CHP leader emphasized that the process initiated is not just a struggle to protect the party. Özel concluded his speech by saying, "Let everyone know that this is a march. A march to own, protect, and look after our party, a march within the party until the end. And this march is a march to power that transcends the party, spills into the streets, and cannot be contained in the squares."
