Özel has adopted a cat born on March 31, the day the local elections were held.

Regarding the cat, which was named Zafer (Victory), Özgür Özel said, "Zafer will always be by our side at our Headquarters, shoulder to shoulder with Şero, as we head toward new victories."

In his post on his social media account, Özel stated:

"We have adopted one of the four kittens born on March 31, the day we won the local elections, with our Narlıdere Mayor Erman Uzun adopting one of its siblings.

In memory of the night it was born, we named it Zafer.

Zafer will always be by our side at our Headquarters, shoulder to shoulder with Şero, as we head toward new victories."
