Özgür Özel attends the funeral of the Gönülşen family in İzmir
CHP's elected Chairman Özgür Özel attended the funeral ceremony of Nurhayat Gönülşen, the mother of writer Barış Gönülşen, in İzmir.
Özgür Özel, accompanied by party members, attended the funeral ceremony held at the Büyük Hatay Mosque in Karabağlar for 78-year-old Nurhayat Gönülşen, who passed away.
Before the ceremony, Özel conveyed his condolences to the Gönülşen family. Following the funeral prayer held after the late afternoon (ikindi) prayer, Nurhayat Gönülşen's remains were laid to rest at the Pınarbaşı Cemetery.
