Özgür Özel commemorates Ferdi Zeyrek

Republican People's Party (CHP) Chairman Özgür Özel commemorated Manisa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ferdi Zeyrek, who passed away last year, with a video he published on his social media account. It was noted that the folk song "Dostum Dostum" accompanied the video, in which Özel highlighted themes of friendship and loyalty.

Adding an emotional message to the video, Özel stated the following:

"Some absences can never be filled. When the burden gets heavy, when you look for a friend to lean on, when you turn around and feel their absence… The paths we walked together are here. We will overcome much more than those paths while still feeling you by our side. Both your memory and your dreams are entrusted to us…"

Özgür Özel's post was shared by many citizens and party members in a short time. It was reported that Özel would be in Manisa today as part of the commemoration events to be held.

It was stated that the commemoration and event programs regarding the passing of Ferdi Zeyrek would continue throughout the day. In the events, which are expected to be attended by the CHP organization as well as Zeyrek's family and loved ones, Zeyrek's vision for municipal governance and his contributions to Manisa will be brought to the agenda once again.
