Özgür Özel reacts to Savaş, who filed a lawsuit to cancel the party congress: 'I guess he couldn't find the time'

In his statement regarding the matter, Özgür Özel said, "Despite all the anger directed at him during the process in which we made him a candidate, Mr. Lütfü apparently could not find the time to object to the Congress and tried to do this a year and a half later."

Özel stated the following:

"Procedurally, the lawsuit that Lütfü Savaş has filed, or is trying to file, is doomed to be dismissed due to the statute of limitations.

Despite all the anger directed at him during the process in which we made him a candidate, Mr. Lütfü apparently could not find the time to object to the Congress and tried to do this a year and a half later.

This is part of the Justice and Development Party's strategy to keep the opposition busy.

As for those who are part of this strategy, let them evaluate for themselves which whole they are a part of."
