Özgür Özel responds to 'illicit vehicle' protest
Özgür Özel has issued a statement regarding the vehicles displayed in front of the CHP headquarters, which were labeled with notes calling them 'illicit vehicles'.
While the images of vehicles displayed in front of the CHP headquarters sparked backlash, a statement on the matter also came from Özgür Özel.
Describing the images in question as 'disgusting,' Özel stated, "The vehicles were purchased with party funds and the invoices are available; the vehicles were also used by Kılıçdaroğlu in 2022."
The following statement was made regarding the issue from the social media account 'Özgür Özel İletişim':
After the disgusting vehicle images at our Headquarters, it has become necessary to say a few words:
- Both vehicles were purchased with party funds, and the invoices are available.
- One of the vehicles was purchased and used by Kılıçdaroğlu in 2022. Those who placed that vehicle there are ignorant enough not to know this.
- After Kılıçdaroğlu was attacked in Çubuk, Erdoğan Toprak obtained an armored vehicle from Aziz İhsan Aktaş and made it available for Mr. Kılıçdaroğlu's use. Kılıçdaroğlu used Aziz İhsan Aktaş's armored vehicle for 1.5 years.
- Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones!
