Özgür Özel shares his speech on social media
CHP leader Özgür Özel stated, "Our path is to build the Turkey alliance against every kind of trap and conspiracy set against Atatürk's ancestral home. The name of the alliance that will win on March 31 is the Turkey alliance. We will succeed together."
CHP Chairman Özgür Özel attended the Eskişehir Candidate Introduction Meeting held at the Porsuk Sports Hall yesterday. Today, Özel shared a segment from his speech during the Eskişehir program on his social media account.
Özel captioned the video: "Our path is to build the Turkey alliance against every kind of trap and conspiracy set against Atatürk's ancestral home. The name of the alliance that will win on March 31 is the Turkey alliance. We will succeed together."
The video included the following remarks by Özel:
"Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is setting up a new game in Turkey; instead of competing against the CHP's populist, honest, non-wasteful, transparent, and hardworking municipalism—which distributes resources to citizens rather than cronies—he is pitting our former allies against us and ensuring that even those who were once in our party become candidates against us, providing them with very different opportunities.
Our path is to build the Turkey alliance against every kind of trap and conspiracy set against the CHP, the Republic, and Atatürk's ancestral home. We believe in this. The name of the alliance that will win on March 31 is the Turkey alliance. We manage the cities we govern well.
To our citizens across Anatolia who are thinking of moving to or living in a CHP-governed municipality, I can say this: Cast your vote on March 31, and let us bring this excellent municipalism to your hometown. In the second century of the Republic, we are running on a path to make Atatürk's, the Gazi's, party the government. Are you with us on this journey? Stand up and win these elections."
