Özgür Özel: We will continue to stand by the elected bodies of the TTB

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel reacted to the removal of the TTB (Turkish Medical Association) Central Executive Council from office by a court decision.

"IT IS UNLAWFUL"

Making a statement on his social media account, Özel said, "The decision to remove the members of the TTB Central Council from office is unlawful. We are against the appointment of trustees in both municipalities and professional organizations that have the status of public institutions. We will continue to defend the law and stand by the elected bodies of the TTB."

WHAT HAPPENED?

In the 7th hearing of the case held at the Ankara 31st Civil Court of First Instance, the court decided to remove the President of the Turkish Medical Association Central Council, Şebnem Korur Fincancı, and the members of the central council from their duties.
