Özel made statements regarding the agenda during a live broadcast he attended.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel also responded to a question regarding the bribery footage filmed at the CHP-run Manavgat Municipality.

Regarding the footage that allegedly shows Deputy Mayor M.E.T. taking a bribe from an individual, Özel said, "If those images are real, may God punish him a thousand times over. It is impossible to forgive someone who takes an action that plays with the party's future. The first reports from the inspectors we assigned for the allegations in Manavgat are not encouraging. If the allegations are true, we will not let that person have any connection with our party for even a second. There is some information that is not encouraging. It looks like there is a possibility of money being taken."
