Özlem Erkan, who secured the trustee decision against Özgür Çelik, turns out to be a party congress delegate: They went on field work together

The Istanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance has announced its interim decision in the lawsuit filed for the cancellation of the CHP 38th Ordinary Istanbul Provincial Congress held on October 8, 2023. The court decided to remove CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Özgür Çelik and the current administration from office as a precautionary measure. 

Özlem Erkan, one of the individuals who filed the lawsuit for the cancellation of the congress process, argued in the petition she submitted to the court that the congress held on October 8, 2023, should be declared void due to lack of authority and irregularities. The petition included allegations that the will of the delegates was corrupted and that criminal acts took place. This legal process resulted in the Istanbul 45th Civil Court of First Instance's decision to appoint a trustee to the congress.

SHE PARTICIPATED IN FIELD WORK TOGETHER WITH ÖZGÜR ÇELİK

It has emerged that plaintiff Özlem Erkan, who caused the trustee decision to be taken against Özgür Çelik with the petition she submitted to the court, was a party congress delegate after her role as a provincial delegate, and that she was by Özgür Çelik's side during field work after the congress. 

In a photograph taken after the congress held on October 8, dated October 29, 2023, Erkan is seen among citizens in the Hürriyet neighborhood of Gaziosmanpaşa together with Özgür Çelik.

Another frame of Erkan is dated October 16, 2023; in this frame, plaintiff Özlem Erkan is seen with Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu.
