Papara issues statement: 'We will continue our operations'
The Central Bank had suspended Papara's operating licenses on October 30. Electronic money institution Papara announced that the lawsuit filed against the decision to revoke the company's operating license was concluded in its favor, and that the company will continue its operations.
Last October, the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey had revoked the operating license of the electronic money company known as Papara.
In a new statement issued by Papara, it was announced that the decision to revoke the licensestay of executionrequesting alawsuit filed, it was stated that the court ruled in favor of Papara togrant a stay of executiondecision.
StThe statement said, "Following the reactivation of the Papara system and infrastructure, it will continue its operations."

The statement made by Paparaisas follows:
“Within the scope of the illegal betting investigation conductedby the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a trustee was appointed to Papara Elektronik Para A.Ş. with the decision of the Istanbul 3rd Criminal Judgeship of Peace dated 27.05.2025 and numbered 2025/5209 D. In the ongoing legalprocess, the decision of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (TCMB) dated 30.10.2025 and numbered 11929/21528 was published in theissue of the Official Gazette dated 31.10.2025 and numbered 33063;withthe aforementioned decision, it was decided to revoke the operating license granted to Papara.This decisionwas
subsequently challenged. following this Our company, in order to protect its rights and interests, filed a lawsuit at the Ankara 25th Administrative Court seeking the cancellation of the aforementioned decision anda stay of executionwas requested. In the lawsuit filed,apreliminary injunction dated 09.12.2025 was issued in favor of our company, anda stay of executionhas been granted.
In this context, Papara will continue its operations following the reactivation of its systems and infrastructure.
We would like to inform the public that developments regarding the services to be opened will be shared regularly in line with the principle of transparency. Furthermore, in accordance with regulations, our strict controls and audits regarding the fight against illegal betting will continue.will be continued."
