Parliamentary question from Turhan Çömez to Minister of Family and Social Services Göktaş: 12punto's report sparks action
İYİ Party member Turhan Çömez has taken action following a report by 12punto reporter Hazal Güven titled 'Where is 13-year-old Serkan Artun, who went missing from a Ministry-run Children's Home?', and has submitted a parliamentary question to the Minister of Family and Social Services.
13-year-old Serkan, the son of Elif Ceren Arslan who was murdered in Konya, has been missing since last Friday. There has been no word for nearly a week from 13-year-old Serkan, who had been placed in a Children's Home under the Ministry of Family and Social Services.
Hazal Güven, who reported on this situation for 12punto, caught the attention of İYİ Party's Turhan Çömez, and the report became the subject of a parliamentary question.
In the parliamentary question he directed to Minister of Family and Social Services Göktaş, İYİ Party member Çömez included the following questions and statements:

under state protection and settled in a children's home affiliated with the Ministry of Family and
Social Services following the murder of his mother by a man. It is stated that Serkan ARTUN,
who was entrusted to the state, went missing from the children's home a week ago and that
no news has been received from him since.
