Passenger bus accident in Peru's capital, Lima

In an accident involving two passenger buses in Peru, 1 person lost their life and 31 people were injured after one of the buses overturned. Following the incident, emergency medical teams and rescue workers were quickly dispatched to the area. The injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment. While the cause of the accident has not yet been determined, an investigation is ongoing.

Two passenger buses collided in the Magdalena del Mar district near Lima, the capital of Peru. Due to the impact of the collision, one of the passenger buses lost control and plowed into a pedestrian crossing. 1 person lost their life and 31 people were injured in the accident.

Eyewitnesses stated that one of the buses was speeding. It was reported that the injured were passengers on the bus.

In footage recorded by surrounding security cameras, it was seen that a person crossing the pedestrian walkway noticed the bus losing control and, while trying to escape, was caught between the bus and an electric pole, losing their life. The bus also struck a motorcycle waiting at a red light, but the motorcycle driver managed to escape at the last moment.
