A passenger bus crashed into a toll booth barrier in Adana and caught fire. While 18 passengers were evacuated after the driver noticed the situation, the driver and 5 others injured in the accident were transported to hospitals in the city.
Six people were injured after a passenger bus caught fire following a collision with a concrete barrier at the western toll booths on the Adana section of the Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep (TAG) Motorway.
The passenger bus with license plate 01 AAS 601, whose driver has not yet been identified, struck the concrete barrier at the Adana western toll booths on the TAG Motorway after the driver lost control of the steering.
The engine section of the bus caught fire due to the impact. Upon the driver noticing the situation, the 18 passengers on board were evacuated. Police, gendarmerie, medical, and fire crews were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
The driver and 5 people injured in the accident were taken to hospitals in the city. Fire crews extinguished the blaze that had engulfed the entire vehicle.

While the bus was rendered unusable, the toll booth was also damaged.
