Passenger bus overturns in Erzincan: 1 dead, 40 injured
One person lost their life and 40 others were injured after a passenger bus overturned in the Refahiye district of Erzincan.
The passenger bus with license plate 34 TR 386, operated by the Dadaş company and traveling from Balıkesir to Erzurum under the command of driver Hamdi Ç. (59), lost control and overturned near Gemecik village in the Kızıldağ area on the Erzincan-Sivas highway.
Upon notification, 112 Emergency Health, gendarmerie, police, and AFAD teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident.
Driver Hamdi Ç. lost his life in the accident, and 40 people were injured.
The injured were transported by ambulance to Refahiye State Hospital and various other hospitals in the city.
