A passenger record was broken on the Metrobus line on October 24, 2023, with approximately 1 million 25 thousand trips made. In total, 288 million trips were completed in 2023.

This number of trips made on the Metrobus System is higher than the populations of 7 countries, including Russia, Brazil, Indonesia, Mexico, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nigeria, which are among the 10 most populous countries in the world.

The Metrobus fleet has been strengthened with the addition of 252 new vehicles featuring high passenger capacity, powerful engines, comfort, and smart transportation systems.
