Person found dead with gunshot wound to the head in Esenyurt: Suicide or murder?

35-year-old İbrahim Gülseren was found dead with a gunshot wound to the head in a park in Esenyurt. A man walking his dog in the park noticed the lifeless body and reported it to the police. Police teams closed the scene to entry and exit and began an investigation in the area.

The incident occurred around 09:00 in a park located on 1981 Street in the Cumhuriyet neighborhood of Esenyurt. A citizen who went out to walk his dog in the morning saw a person lying in a pool of blood at the corner of the park.

He reported the situation to the police and medical teams. Upon the report, numerous police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After initial examinations, it was determined that the person was İbrahim Gülseren (35) and that he had lost his life. Police teams announced that they have launched an investigation to determine whether the incident was a murder or a suicide.

It was learned that there was a single bullet entry wound on the person's head. İbrahim Gülseren's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue for an autopsy following the work of the crime scene investigation teams.
