In the incident that took place in Beşiktaş yesterday evening, an individual named A.Ş (33) who came to the front of the Israeli Consulate fired into the air with a pump-action shotgun to protest Israel's attacks on Gaza; the protester, who resisted for a long time, surrendered after warning shots were fired by special operations police.
The detained protester was taken to the Beşiktaş Security Bureau.

While the suspect's interrogation at the police station continues, it was learned that 1 pump-action shotgun, 1 machete, 3 magazines, and 4 cartridges were found on A.Ş. It was determined that the suspect came near the consulate to protest the events in Palestine and fired into the air for protest purposes. On the other hand, it was determined that A.Ş. has 7 records for "violation of Law No. 6136, intentional injury, intentional endangerment of general safety, and attempted suicide," and it was learned that the investigation into the incident is ongoing. Meanwhile, the suspect, whose procedures at the police station were completed, has been referred to the courthouse.
