Phone call from DEM Party to Eren Bülbül's family

On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, holiday visits and phone calls to political party leaders and families who lost their loved ones in conflicts continue. DEM Party Co-Chairs Tuncer Bakırhan and Tülay Hatimoğulları also conducted numerous phone calls within this scope.

In a statement made by the DEM Party, it was stated that Co-Chair Tuncer Bakırhan called Ayşe Bülbül, the mother of 15-year-old Eren Bülbül, who was martyred in a clash between security forces and PKK terrorists in the rural area of Maçka district in Trabzon on August 11, 2017. During the call, Bakırhan celebrated Ayşe Bülbül's holiday and conveyed his wishes for peace and brotherhood.

The statement made by the DEM Party included the following:

"Our Co-Chairs Tuncer Bakırhan and Tülay Hatimoğulları called political party leaders and the families of those who lost their lives in conflicts on the occasion of Eid al-Adha to celebrate their holiday.

Hatimoğulları called CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan, Felicity Party (Saadet Partisi) Chairman Mahmut Arıkan, Future Party (Gelecek Partisi) Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu, New Welfare Party (Yeniden Refah Partisi) Chairman Fatih Erbakan, EMEP Chairman Seyit Aslan, TİP Chairman Erkan Baş, representatives of the Left Party (Sol Parti), and the co-chairs of our component parties among the political party leaders in Turkey. Hatimoğulları also called the families of Cemile Çağırga, Ceylan Önkol, and Uğur Kaymaz to celebrate their holiday.

Bakırhan, on the other hand, called KDP leader Masoud Barzani, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, IYI Party Chairman Musavvat Dervişoğlu, DEVA Party Chairman Ali Babacan, Felicity Party Chairman Mahmut Arıkan, Future Party Chairman Ahmet Davutoğlu, New Welfare Party Chairman Fatih Erbakan, EMEP Chairman Seyit Aslan, TİP Chairman Erkan Baş, and the co-chairs of our component parties to celebrate their holiday. Bakırhan will also call Bafel Talabani, Nechirvan Barzani, and Qubad Talabani to celebrate their holiday. Bakırhan also called the Peace Mothers, the Saturday Mothers, the family of Berkin Elvan from the Gezi families, and Eren Bülbül's mother Ayşe Bülbül to celebrate their holiday.

During the calls, the wish was shared that the holiday would serve as a means to create a Turkey where peace, brotherhood, law, and justice are established. Especially in the meetings with families who lost their loved ones, while conveying the wish that the holiday would lead to peace and brotherhood so that similar pains are not experienced again, the families also shared the same wish."
