A dispute over a phone return at a mobile phone store in the Gemlik district of Bursa turned into a stabbing attack. Berna A., who is reported to be 4 months pregnant, was seriously injured in the incident.
According to allegations, B.U., who was recently released from prison, went to the store to return a phone he had purchased a day earlier. A dispute broke out between the parties after his return request was denied.
It was stated that as the argument escalated, the suspect injured Berna A. with a knife. Medical teams called to the scene provided initial intervention to the young woman before transporting her to Gemlik State Hospital.
It was learned that the condition of Berna A., who was transferred to Bursa City Hospital following the intervention there, remains serious. A treatment process has also been initiated by obstetricians regarding the condition of the baby in the womb.
B.U., who was caught by bystanders following the attack, was handed over to the police. It was reported that the suspect's processing at the district police department is ongoing.
