Pilot Bayram Çiçek is being laid to rest

Retired Colonel Pilot Bayram Çiçek, who lost his life after an air ambulance helicopter crashed in Muğla, is being laid to rest in his hometown of Mut, Mersin.


The air ambulance, which took off yesterday morning, crashed after hitting the Muğla Training and Research Hospital due to heavy fog. Pilot Tamer Gönül, Pilot Bayram Çiçek, Dr. Cengiz Coşkun, and paramedic Selçuk Saykal lost their lives in the accident. Following a ceremony held in Muğla, the bodies were sent to their hometowns.

HIS BODY WAS BROUGHT TO HIS HOMETOWN

The body of the fallen duty martyr, retired Colonel Pilot Bayram Çiçek, was brought by ambulance to his hometown of Mut, Mersin. A funeral ceremony was held for Çiçek at the Laal Paşa Mosque. Pilot Çiçek's wife, Gülay, and his son, Gökberk, shed tears for a long time, while relatives embraced the coffin and wept.


It was stated that after the funeral prayer, Çiçek's body would be taken to the Martyr Ahmet İnce Cemetery in the Hacınuhlu neighborhood to be laid to rest.
