Pinpoint operation by MIT in Iraq
The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has neutralized Zilan Azak, who played an active role in PKK/KCK drone attacks, in a pinpoint operation carried out in the Hakurk region of Iraq. Azak, who joined the organization in 2015, had recently been tasked with intelligence and reconnaissance activities.
The National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has neutralized Zilan Azak, codenamed "Sema Cuya Çevlik," who played an active role in PKK/KCK drone attacks, in a pinpoint operation carried out in the Hakurk region of Iraq.
MIT determined that Zilan Azak had been involved in PKK/KCK drone attacks for some time and was conducting reconnaissance and surveillance activities in the Hakurk region.
Acting on this intelligence, MIT neutralized Zilan Azak in a pinpoint operation conducted at her location.
JOINED THE ORGANIZATION IN 2015
Zilan Azak joined the PKK/KCK in 2015 after dropping out of her university education.
Having received armed training in the Gara region of Iraq, Azak served in the organization's heavy weapons battalion in the Hakurk region. Azak, who had an outstanding arrest warrant for supporting terrorism, had recently been assigned by organization leaders to tasks involving intelligence gathering, reconnaissance/surveillance, and drone operations.
