Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli continues to make successive statements regarding the new resolution process, which began with his initiative and continued with the call for terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan to lay down arms.
MHP leader Bahçeli stated in his remarks yesterday: "The PKK convening its congress to decide on its dissolution and the surrender of bloody weapons is an agenda item that cannot be postponed or delayed."
"NO ONE OTHER THAN ÖCALAN CAN CONVENE THE CONGRESS"
Responding to Bahçeli's words, Cemil Bayık, a so-called leader of the terrorist organization PKK, demanded 'legal changes' and said, "No one other than Öcalan can convene the congress."
Speaking to ANF, the terrorist Bayık noted the following:
"If the conditions for Öcalan to work freely are not created, the process he wishes to develop will not progress. The step the state must take is to make the necessary legal changes for this."
