PKK terrorist leader Öcalan's 'conditions for speaking' revealed: Statement comes from Qandil

Sabri Ok, one of the so-called high-level leaders of the separatist terrorist organization PKK, announced the conditions regarding terrorist leader Öcalan's call to lay down arms in a statement made to the organization's channel.

Terrorist Ok stated regarding PKK terrorist leader Öcalan, "If he is not free, if the heavy isolation is not lifted, and if his conditions do not change, then no step can be taken."

CONDITIONS FOR SPEAKING

In the new process that began with MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, the call that terrorist leader Öcalan would make from İmralı was being awaited with curiosity.

Regarding the call, Sabri Ok, one of the so-called high-level leaders of the separatist terrorist organization PKK, announced Öcalan's conditions for speaking on the organization's channel.

Terrorist Ok said of PKK terrorist leader Öcalan, "Ömer Çelik says, 'There is no bargaining, no negotiation, no nothing.' Well, wouldn't one ask then, what is there? They only say, 'Let the PKK lay down its arms, let Öcalan say lay down the arms.'

Öcalan said it in 2013, and he is saying it today; if he is not free, if the heavy isolation is not lifted, and if his conditions do not change, then no step can be taken."

EMPHASIS ON LEGAL CHANGE

Recalling the process in 2013, terrorist Ok stated, "At that time, Öcalan drew attention to very important points; he emphasized that the Turkish Grand National Assembly should take this issue onto its agenda, that commissions should be established, legal changes should be made, and most importantly, that the process should be legally accepted. In fact, Öcalan had so many doubts that he told the delegation visiting him, 'If a legal and constitutional basis for this process is not established, they could arrest you and throw you in prison in the future.' And that is exactly what happened."

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

A new process had begun with MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli's call for 'Öcalan to come to parliament and announce that he has dissolved the terror organization.' The process gained a new dimension with Bahçeli's call for 'DEM to meet with Öcalan in Imralı.' Finally, Bahçeli made another new statement at his party's group meeting, saying, 'The expected call should be announced as soon as possible.'

Following Bahçeli's call, a DEM Party delegation (Pervin Buldan, Sırrı Süreyya Önder, and Ahmet Türk) applied to the Ministry of Justice to go to Imralı. With the approval from the ministry, the DEM delegation went to Imralı and met with the terrorist leader. Finally, the DEM delegation had gone to Imralı again for a second meeting.

Now, in the process, PKK terrorist organization leader Öcalan is expected to make a statement regarding 'the PKK laying down its arms.'
