Police car overturns in Niğde: 2 police officers and 4 civilians injured
Six people, including two police officers, were injured following a collision between a police vehicle and a car in Niğde. The police vehicle overturned in the accident, striking a pedestrian and the occupants of the other vehicle, all of whom were taken to the hospital.
According to the information received, a police vehicle with license plate 51 A 4824 and a car with license plate 51 ABD 426, whose drivers' identities have not yet been determined, collided on Emin Erişingil Boulevard in the Şahsüleyman neighborhood. Upon notification, numerous health, police, and fire department teams were dispatched to the area.
Police officers H.A. (39) and Y.D. (36), who were injured in the accident, along with F.K. (21), I.K. (26), K.K. (2), and S.A. (35), were taken to the Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University Training and Research Hospital.

Governor Cahit Çelik and Provincial Police Chief Yılmaz Delen visited the injured at the hospital and received information about their conditions.

Speaking to members of the press after the visit, Çelik stated that the police vehicle, which was responding to a report, collided with another vehicle and subsequently overturned.

Stating that a pedestrian struck by the overturned police vehicle, 2 police officers, and 3 people in the car were injured in the accident, Çelik said, "We have brought all of our friends to the hospital. They are currently receiving treatment. We hope that all the injured will be discharged without suffering any serious health issues. Get well soon to all our citizens."
