Police chiefs attempting to flee to Greece caught at the border!
Former police chiefs were caught at the border in Edirne while attempting to flee to Greece through illegal means.
According to the information received, security forces identified a group attempting to flee to Greece during checks conducted in a 1st-degree military forbidden zone near Alibey village in the Meriç district.
S.Ç., who has a finalized prison sentence of 6 years, 10 months, and 15 days, Y.K., who has a 7-year, 6-month prison sentence, and H.B., whose case regarding the charge of "membership in an armed terrorist organization" is currently under appeal at the Gaziantep 7th High Criminal Court, were taken into custody.
The proceedings for the suspects at the gendarmerie are ongoing.
