Police killer Yunus Emre Geçti has 26 criminal records but no convictions: The Ogün Samast detail

Killer Yunus Emre Geçti, who was walking free despite having 26 criminal records and who martyred Şeyda Yılmaz in a shootout with police, remains a top issue on the national agenda. We will also document that some things are being reflected in a different way to subject us to emotional manipulation. Let me provide one more piece of information: why is this person outside, why is he not inside? How can a person with so many criminal records still walk free? I have obtained some information.

This person has passed through two prisons in Istanbul. Maltepe and Ümraniye prisons. Let's put this information aside; there are claims to the contrary, but according to the information I have obtained, he has entered these prisons."

"THEY DO NOT WANT OFFICIAL RECORDS TO BE ACCESSED"

"What does 26 criminal records mean? Let's see. My impression is that they do not want the case files or the records related to the judiciary and the police regarding this Yunus Emre Geçti to be accessed. I am underlining this: they do not want official records and official information regarding how this killer committed these crimes and how he was able to remain free to be accessed. I will explain the reason in a moment. How does a murder happen in plain sight? We will see the tumor in the brain. We will see that fatal tumor. What I will tell you here is the sum of the information, allegations, and analyses I have obtained from the judicial and security bureaucracy."

"DOUBTS BEGIN WHEN IT COMES TO THE JUDICIARY"

"Who was our martyr killed by? Intentional killing, injury, deprivation of liberty, drugs, motorcycle theft, threats, insults, property damage, qualified fraud, again drugs, looting, extortion, sexual assault, possession of firearms and knives. What I am describing here is the criminal record of this 19-year-old killer. Do you know what a criminal record is?

Being in custody, having a detention warrant, or being a convict are all separate items. The criminal records announced as figures by the General Directorate of Security are something separate from the judiciary. What I mean is, if you tell the police that your neighbor threatened you, the police create a criminal record regarding your neighbor. Whether there is an investigation, prosecution, or arrest regarding that person is a separate matter.

The total list of accusations against this person at the General Directorate of Security is called a criminal record. We are talking about 20-plus crimes here. So, the police have taken this record. The matter falls to the judiciary after this. When it comes to the judicial side, both information pollution and doubts begin."

"THIS KILLER HAS NOT YET BEEN OFFICIALLY PUNISHED"

"We have seen so many crimes. Let me say at the beginning what I will say at the end. For all these crimes, this killer has not yet been officially punished. How? Look, there is injury, motorcycle theft, sexual assault, looting, drugs, but there is still no punishment. There is still no verdict. There is still no conviction. Two things emerge here."

"THE SAME PROCESS APPLIED TO OGÜN SAMAST"

"This person is 19 years old. This person's criminal record began in 2021. In 2021, he was 16. Look, according to the law, a person under 18 who is subject to an accusation is considered a child. Their name in the law is 'child dragged into crime.' In fact, the same concept was used for Ogün Samast. According to the law, he was a child when he committed these crimes. You might ask what the importance of this is. It has this importance: courts generally use such discretion for children dragged into crime, usually giving the minimum sentence, or if they receive a sentence, the time to be served is so little that, let's say he received a 10-year sentence, he serves one or two years."

The Turkish Judiciary, which does not tremble to put even Gülşen in jail, to keep Can Atalay in jail, to put Sedef Kabaş in jail, to put opponents, politicians, those who tweet, and those who give interviews in jail, has not punished this man. It either acquitted him or did not open a case and closed the file, but there is something like this.

I talked to many people; I wonder what decisions were made in cases like sexual assault and motorcycle theft. It is not normal for a person to end up in prison so little or not at all with so many accusations.

I honestly think this child was left outside consciously or by being misled. This is important for this reason. We are coming to the issue of child criminals. We are talking about the hitmen of mafias. Look at the hitmen; children are usually chosen, and they are protected, and they are made to commit crimes."
