Police officer attempts suicide in Pendik: Condition is critical
A police officer has attempted suicide in Pendik. It has been learned that the officer, who was taken to the hospital, remains in critical condition.
A police officer has attempted suicide in the Pendik district of Istanbul. It was stated that the officer, who was taken to the hospital following the incident, is in life-threatening condition.
The incident occurred on Orhanlı Street in the Sanayi neighborhood of Pendik.
According to the information obtained, a police officer identified as E. A., who serves at the Yenişehir Martyr Abdullatif Türkgezer Police Station, attempted suicide for reasons yet unknown.
Upon notification, medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The medical teams provided initial intervention to the injured officer at the scene and transported him to Pendik Marmara University Training and Research Hospital.
While the police officer, a father of two, remains in critical condition, police teams have launched an investigation into the incident.
