Police officer found dead in his home
31-year-old police officer Özkan Çakmak, who was serving in the Serik district of Antalya, was found dead in his home. After he failed to report for duty, he was checked on and found motionless in his bed.
A police officer has been found dead in his home in the Serik district of Antalya.
Police officer Özkan Çakmak, who was serving at the Serik District Police Department, did not report for his morning shift, prompting his colleagues to try and reach him by phone.
When his colleagues went to his home to check on him after he failed to answer his phone, they found him lying motionless in his bed and notified medical teams.
The medical team that arrived at the house determined that Çakmak had passed away.
Following an examination, Çakmak's body was sent to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy.
